Pregnancy is beautiful! It’s a gift to be embraced! Women’s bodies are magical and powerful!
And Under all that magic is a body shifting and stretching. Hormones adjusting. Muscles compensating to balance the extra weight of another human! Exhaustion from the extra work our bodies endure to carry that weight physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Fear of the unknown colored by everyone (and their mother’s) story of birth and motherhood. Reminders of self doubt and confusion. Sickness, stiffness, soreness, pain!
None of us were born with a pregnancy and birth instruction manual. And while it may seem like some women were born with a maternal instinct or like it comes so naturally to some, we all want to feel loved and supported, nurtured and guided.
Our partners and loved ones do the very best they can, but without guidance and nurturing themselves they don’t always know what we need and we lack the wisdom to communicate our needs to them.
Yoga based birth was created as a method to guide you and your partner or loved ones through pregnancy and birth (prenatal yoga workshops, partner prenatal yoga workshops, yoga based birth prep workshops. And postpartum prep workshops)
And to give you and your family the support it needs through the postpartum 4th trimester. ( baby and me yoga, postpartum yoga virtual program)
I’ve been supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum for since 2005. I believe it’s an opportunity to develop communication and set the tone for families to thrive! We create little humans that mirror out behavior. When we communicate with love they do the same. When we have the wisdom to ask for what we need they do the same. We cannot expect from them what we do not have ourselves. All of the classes/workshops and resources created for Yoga Based Birth are designed to guide you into parenthood with the knowledge and wisdom you and your family need to make the best decisions for you!
